Spay and Neuter

Here at The Meadows Veterinary Center, we pride ourselves on helping pets live longer, healthier lives.

Did you know that spaying and neutering your pet can help them live a longer life? This means more time spent loving them! Please watch the video to learn more.

We are excited to help you prioritize your pet’s long-term health. Spaying and neutering your pet can be scary, but it is a widespread and routine procedure that we can do for our friendly companions.

Our team is committed to providing the best care for your pet and peace of mind for you.

What happens during the spay/neuter procedure here at The Meadows Veterinary Center?

Watch below to find out how we care for your pet!

Please keep in mind your pet needs to be current on their pre-anesthetic blood testing. We are happy to review your pet’s medical records to determine when that was last completed. Even though your pet is seemingly young and healthy, studies have shown that we can still find early risk for kidney, heart, and liver disease in your pet’s wellness screening. Learn more why this is important from the video below!

Our spay and neuter pricing varies by weight, maturity, and other variable factors.

Please keep in mind that additional costs may be incurred for a spay procedure in the case of a heat cycle, pregnancy, maturity, or obesity. Similarly, additional costs may apply for a neuter procedure in the case of testicular disease, retained testicle(s), or maturity.

If other procedures are to be performed, these additional treatments and estimated costs will be discussed before the admittance of your pet.

The plan is comprehensive and it includes everything we know will happen the day of their surgery – Sedation, Anesthesia and Pain Management, and Individualized Post-Surgical Protection by our Team.

For pets that need any additional treatments, an updated treatment plan will be provided after the doctor has thoroughly examined your pet’s mouth and prepared for surgery.

Our Anesthetic Packages start at $540 for Neuter Procedures and $660 for Spay Procedures.

This commitment will help your pet live a longer, healthier life and we are here to help!

Please call us with any questions or to schedule your pet’s anesthetic procedure.
