What happens during the dental procedure here at The Meadows Veterinary Center?

Watch to find out how we care for your pet and their teeth!

The formation of plaque on teeth leads not only to tartar buildup but also to gingivitis. If gingivitis is left untreated, it will progress into more advanced periodontal disease.

Studies have shown an increased risk for kidney, heart, liver, and pulmonary disease all stemming from late-stage dental disease and poor oral care.

To learn more about periodontal disease and the long term effects it can have on your pet’s body watch the video below!

Our dental pricing varies by weight and the degree of dental disease your pet has.

After examining your pet’s teeth, our team of veterinarians will be able to provide you with a dental care plan specific to your pet’s needs.

The plan is comprehensive and it includes everything we know will happen the day of their dental cleaning – Sedation, Oral Cleaning & Radiographs, and Individualized Care by our Team.

For pet’s that need additional dental care for diseased, broken or infected teeth, an updated treatment plan will be provided after the doctor has thoroughly examined your pet’s mouth and oral radiographs.

A discount is available to clients who book their pet’s dental cleaning the day of their exam.

A discount is available to clients who book their pet’s annual dental cleaning every 12 months.

Please keep in mind your pet needs to be current on their pre-anesthetic blood testing. We are happy to review your pet’s medical records to determine when that was last completed.

Dental disease and oral pain can be prevented with regular professional dental cleanings and a home dental care plan.

This commitment will help your pet live a longer, healthier life and we are here to help!
